for anyone who has felt like an 'other'
virtual therapy in california, ARizona and Connecticut
how do i know it’s time to try therapy?
It’s incredibly common to find ourselves carrying heavy emotions, harsh self-criticism, or the echo of past hurts. When you layer that on top of modern life—navigating the daily grind of capitalism, systemic inequities, and a culture that often leaves us feeling disconnected—it is completely understandable to feel stuck, exhausted, or estranged from who you really are.
If you are ready to understand yourself on a deeper level, cultivate self-compassion, and build truly meaningful connections, you don't have to do it alone. My goal is to help you reclaim your agency so you can live a fulfilling, authentic life that actually aligns with your deepest values.
what type of therapy does brittany offer?
Therapy is a collaborative journey of self-discovery, and I’m here to work alongside you as a teammate. My practice is deeply trauma-informed and committed to decolonization and social justice, exploring how systemic oppression impacts your mental health.
To support your whole self, I weave together talk therapy (ACT and psychodynamic) with somatic work (Brainspotting). This combination is highly effective: talk therapy helps us map out and understand your experiences, while somatic work goes beneath the surface to rewire how your body holds onto stress and trauma. We will co-create a comfortable space to explore these dynamics, deepen your self-awareness, and build lasting tools for life's challenges.
is brittany the right therapist for me?
If you're seeking a therapist who understands the complexities of navigating a world that wasn't built for you, we might be a good fit. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+, queer, and neurodivergent individuals—including those with ADHD, Autism, and twice-exceptional (2E) experiences. I particularly resonate with clients who have been told in past therapy that they are "already so self-aware." Knowing why you struggle doesn't make the struggle disappear; I help you move past intellectualizing your pain and into deep, somatic healing.
Typical issues I support clients through include CPTSD/trauma, anxiety, and systemic stress. Whether you're celebrating your unique strengths or navigating the isolation of feeling different, I offer a deeply affirming space for self-discovery, growth, and liberation. If you're ready to reach out, I'm here.

access & convenience
My fully virtual therapy practice provides accessible and convenient appointments for adults residing in the states of California, Arizona and Connecticut.
I offer telehealth appointments so you can access care in the comfort of your own space.
payment options
I am a private-pay provider. I accept debit, HSA/FSA and all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover.
I don't partner directly with insurance companies to ensure your personal mental health process stays as private as possible.
If you have a PPO, I can gladly offer a monthly Superbill for potential reimbursement. However, submitting these claims means sharing your diagnosis and session history with insurance companies. To keep their care confidential, many clients choose to pay out-of-pocket instead.
I always suggest taking a moment to decide if financial reimbursement is worth opening your record to a third party. Whatever you decide, I’m here to support your choice.
Land Acknowledgment
Although my practice is virtual, I benefit from the stolen land that I am able to work and live on. I acknowledge that the ground beneath us is the ancestral, unceded home of the Kizh (Quiichi), Tongva (Gabrieleño) and Acjachemen (Juaneño) peoples. They have cared for these lands, coastal valleys and waters for generations, and they remain the rightful stewards of this land today.
I also recognize that this region’s infrastructure was built through the exploitation and abuse of Black and brown bodies. We honor the Indigenous peoples, Black communities and immigrant workers who were violently forced to build and maintain the foundations that have shaped California. We see you, we thank you, and we remember you.
I believe that coming together in community means committing to active anti-racism and collective healing. We are dedicated to doing the daily work required to turn these values into real-world change.
